Planning Commission
Purpose
The Planning Commission:
- Facilitates planning and zoning within the City
- Makes an annual written report to City Council concerning its operations, the status of planning activities and planning and development recommendations
The existence of the Board of Review is established and required by the Planning Commission Ordinance.

The Board of Review is comprised of a seven (7) member board appointed by the Mayor and subject to confirmation by the City Council. Each Board member must represent important segments of the City. One-third of the Board is appointed each year to a three-year term.
